Assassins, Claws, Arrows, and Super men

sorry for the late post again.

Don’t forget to read previous posts for maximum background.

Recap: Eion Macbeth is the modern millionaire descendent of the original
Macbeth, based in Astropolis, Texas. He is the owner and founder of the Society of Heroes. The original Macbeth, back in medieval Scotland, took revenge for the murder of his father at the hands of Gillecomgain, and at the command of then-prince Duncan, by killing Duncan and becoming king, though he was later killed by Duncan’s son, Canmore. Chao-Tech is the modern weapons developer that creates illegal weapons for the purpose of controlling superheroes.

Gillecomgain, the assassin responsible for the death of Macbeth’s father, was an Irish noble, who was one of a long line of assassins, that being the family trade. His ancestor, the 12th-century Sir Robin of Lockesley, also known as Robin Hood, was dispossessed of his land because he was the rightfully suspected assassin for the death of the Sheriff of Nottingham’s predecessor. He founded a band of outlaws and brigands, painting himself as a hero to the people, all the while waging war on the Sheriff. Robin was the chief secret agent of King Richard the Lionhearted, charged with spying on Richard’s ambitious brother, Prince John.
Robin’s modern descendant, Alexander “Lex” Lockesley, is a masterful assassin, preferring a bow and his special utility arrows.

Dr. Nicolas White was a geneticist working for Chao-Tech, creating for them a super serum which would give the subject the strength, speed, agility, and senses of a jungle cat. Chao-Tech grew impatient with White’s slow progress, and sent hit men to kill him in his lab. There was a scuffle, and Nicolas barely managed to escape his 2nd-floor lab, hearing it explode behind him. He ran out of the building, and onto the street. People had gathered at the sound of the explosion, and were staring at the rubble on the ground. Suddenly he saw an interested child reach down and pick up an unharmed vial of serum, which had rolled out of the rubble. Being too young to understand, he tossed it into the air, intending to catch it. White saw this, and, in desperation, reached out and caught the vial, which shattered in his hand, cutting him, and spilling the serum. He began to feel a bit out of it, and started going into an animal rage.
He awoke in a cell, having been apprehended by Superhuman Control Officers. He looked down to see he had transformed into a large cat-thing. Repulsed, he went into another rage. Having not succeeded in killing him themselves, Chao-Tech hired Lex Lockesley to kill him. Lockesley disguised himself as an SCO, and went up to the cell, intending to kill White with a poison dart. However, in his rage, Nicolas lashed out, scarring Lockesley’s face. He escaped, and sought refuge with the Society of Heroes. He eventually became employed with Macbeth Industries, and joined the Society, becoming Silverclaw. While he is a hero, and is employed, and is paid well, he can never again go out in public as Nicolas White.
After being scarred, Lockesley swore vengeance, becoming Huntsman, and donning a mask adorned to match his scars. His prowess as an assassin only grew from that time on.

Several years before Nicolas White was employed by Chao-Tech, Chao-tech’s chief scientist was Dr. Helmut Scharrer, a prestigious European geneticist. Chao-Tech began work on a supersoldier, splicing DNA from other unknown sources, and began growing it in a clone tank hidden within a secret lab. After Nicolas White left Chao-Tech, this creation was finally grown to his early prime. His mind had been programmed with all sorts of knowledge and strategy, as well as still-dormant sub-programming. Myrmidon, as he was called, had super strength, and invulnerability, as well as a nearly unparalleled strategically ingenious mind. He was sent to attack the Society of Heroes as a test of his powers. In the ensuing battles, he realized Chao-Tech was using him. He then decided he would have no more, and joined the Society of Heroes.

Chao-Tech realized the flaw in a sentient supersoldier. Their foremost mechanics and robotics scientists then built a super-strong android robot, Talos, whose strength eclipsed that of Myrmidon. It was then sent to kill Myrmidon. Talos fought Myrmidon in a mighty battle, after which a sorely beaten Myrmidon was left for dead. Talos then went haywire and began to destroy the city. Chao-Tech activated a failsafe, seemingly destroying Talos.
